Projects

Over the past years I’ve been involved in a couple of projects.

The most recent one is To Culture With Love which emerged from the “To Culture With Love. Management” workshop of which I am a part of the organisational team since 2008.  I did the programme coordination for the first edition 2010 in Brno, CZ and the main project coordination for the second run 2011 in Potsdam, DE.
In order to continue the work on  topics that are dealt with in the To Culture With Love. Management workshop we – a group of young cultural workers from Czech Republic, England, Finland and Germany – decided to establish an association. The latter was formed in December 2010 and I am the managing board member. Together with me in the board are Riikka Wallin from Finland and Sarah Walters (Xpresents…) from England.
The main topic To Culture With Love is dealing with is the working environment of cultural workers in Europe and how to develop a more sustainable way of working in this very project based field.

In 2009 I worked with the Theaterbotschafter project, where I mainly did the accounting. The project brought together young people from Germany and Namibia through Theatre.

I am currently part of the swedish-finnish Produforum network and besides being managing board member of the To Culture With Love association I am also a board member of the alumni association of the degree programme Cultural Work & Arts Managment at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam “Facetten der Kulturarbeit e.V.”

A very personal project is what I call “Creative Network Economy“. It first came into being as the title of my 2010 diploma thesis but I keep it as a label for my ongoing research on the economics within networks in the creative and cultural field. I also hope to be soon starting a PhD / doctorate on that topic.
